Blue Dog Leather is a full service leather shop offering quality repairs of all types of tack, English and Western, as well as custom leather goods. All work is hand-sewn or machine stitched to ensure the best quality work possible. Attention to detail and customer service are a given. We offer free estimates, friendly service, and fast turnaround. We can ship to anywhere, and we're happy to work with photos, sketches, and ideas if you're not in our neighborhood. Custom projects are welcome.

We've had an extraordinary summer of interesting projects. Keith finished a mentorship project with Master Harnessmaker of Russ Bigelow of Winchester, New Hampshire in the spring, and the completed project was showcased at the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen fair in Sunapee. Even more exciting, a call from sculptor Charles Jones resulted in a commission to construct a custom gas mask for a show that will open at the Boston Sculptor's Gallery on November 15. The gas mask is made to fit an African elephant, and the result is not only a beautiful piece of leather craftsmanship, but also a stunning visual reminder of what's at risk from global environmental change and political instability.
