What kind of idiot leaves a gorgeous tooled saddle in the barn to gather mold like this? Er, well, Keith's wife Jane, for one. Heat and humidity can do this kind of work in just a few weeks. Fortunately, we caught it quickly. Some good cleaning supplies and a lot of elbow grease restored the leather to beautiful condition. Don't let your leather languish if this happens to you! Let us clean it, or come over for some cleaning supplies - or just some free advice! But take care of it sooner rather than later.

We use Oakwood leather products for normal cleaning and condition of leather. The products are non-greasy, apply and clean up easily, and no water is required. We are also dealers for Oakwood products, available at the shop or by alternate arrangement.

For extraordinary cleaning and restoration, we use a variety of products, depending on the nature of the challenge: vacuum cleaners, soft brushes, toothbrushes, Q Tips, Murphy's Oil Soap, neatsfoot oil, and toothpaste (for metal trim), to name a few.
