Keith began doing leather work when
his wife Jane kept asking him to work on her tack. Since then, Keith has refined his leathercraft to become a superb leather craftsman.
He has apprenticed with Russ Bigelow, Harnessmaker, of Winchester, NH, and has studied carving and tooling, tack and saddle repair, and similar work
with such notable artists as Chan Geer and Jim Johnson.
Keith is pursuing certification through the program offered by the American Saddlemakers Association, Inc.

Keith and Jane live in Orange, Massachusetts. Although he'd rather be riding a horse on a Wyoming elk hunt,
Keith also enjoys trail riding with Jane on their two American Bashkir Curly horses, and visiting with the donkey girls, Chrissy and Isabella. |

Keith is also a skydiver, a master parachute rigger, and a commercial pilot.
He first learned his way around a sewing machine when he became parachute rigger over twenty-five years ago.
Sometime in 2008, he'll make his 5500th parachute jump.
Nearly 3000 people, including grandmothers, army veterans, and his own mother, have enjoyed making tandem parachute jumps with him.
Mike Phillips of Mike's Photography captured this wonderful photo of Keith and a tandem student at Jumptown in Orange.
Mike can be reached at photog@mass.rr.com.

Who is Blue Dog?
Keith and Jane have shared their lives with Australian Cattle Dogs for many years, but none was finer than Ch. Blue Max.
Max died in 1999, but his memory lives on in the Blue Dog logo, designed by Mark Cole of 37 Design in Athol.
